How to edit a subscription from the backend?

Sometimes you may want to change the renewal date or the next renewal amount. To do this, you will have to edit the subscription from the backend. Follow steps below to edit the subscription from the backend:

Step 1: Go to Components > J2Commerce > Sales > Orders

Step 2: Edit the order and open the order history page

Step 3: You will see the Subscription table. Click on Subscription ID (for example, 5) to edit the subscription.

Step 4: On the subscription page, you will see green colored panel where you can see the Edit button.

Step 5: Click on this edit button to edit / change renewal price, recurring period, and next renewal date.

How to cancel subscriptions

Cancelling a subscription can be done by both the store admin as well as subscriber.

Cancelling subscription by subscriber

On the frontend order history page, move to the subscription tab. You will see the Cancel button in the last column (named “Actions”) of the table. Clicking on the Cancel button will cancel the subscription.

Cancelling the subscription by the store owner in two ways:

First way:

• Go to Components > J2Commerce > Sales > Orders

• Open / Edit your order.

• You will see the subscription table. Click on Subscription ID to cancel the subscription.

• After clicking on the subscription ID, you will be taken to the subscription page. On this page, you will see the option to update your status. Choose Canceled from the dropdown list and click on the Update status button. The subscription will be cancelled.

Second way:

• Go to J2Commerce > Apps and open the Subscription Products app.

• On top of the page, click on the Subscriptions button.

• You will see the subscription list in a table. In the last column (Actions) of the table, choose the status Canceled and click on the Update button. The subscription will be cancelled.
